Due to Revit’s lack of backwards compatibility, it is necessary to upgrade all template files or all project files every time a new Revit version is deployed in the office. Upper is there to try and ease this process.

The Source Directory: Pick the directory that contains all files that you would like to upgrade. All files in all nested folders will be processed and the folder structure will be preserved inside your destination directory (2).
The Destination Directory: Pick the new directory for your upgraded content. This must be a directory different from the source directory because during the upgrade the files will be opened and once opened, can not be saved as in the same location (eg. we are upgrading from “T:\Revit 2021 Library” to “T:\Revit 2022 Library”).
The File Types: The file types you would like to upgrade. You do not need to upgrade all files in one go, in fact if you are upgrading your company’s entire library, it might be a good idea to do
