Alignments is a Revit plugin that highlights all line based elements in the active Revit view that are not aligned with any grids in the project. The add-in also allows you to filter the misaligned elements according to a customizable tolerance.
Use the demo file (House 1.rvt) to try Alignments.
Open the Floor Plan view "Level 0_Alignments". Go to Toolbox → Toolbox → Alignments → Alignments. In the case of this Revit file, the add-in will create a filter that highlights the walls that are not aligned with the grids.

Alignments also works in other type of views. For example, open the 3D View "Exterior view", click on Alignments (if you had not done before) and you will see the same filter in the walls that are not aligned with the grid. Also, to be faster, you can simply click on the Alignments icon, instead of displaying the drop down menu.

After creating the filter that highlights the misalignments you can keep it or remove it. To delete the filter go to Toolbox → Toolbox → Alignments → Clear.

In case you want to analyze the misaligned elements with more detail it is also possible to isolate them in the view you are working on. To do this go to Toolbox → Toolbox → Alignments → Isolate. To restore the view go to Temporary Hide/Isolate and select Reset Temporary Hide/Isolate.

Alignments also allows you to set the tolerance to analyze the misaligned elements, in case you do not need to consider elements below a specific threshold. To set the tolerance go to Toolbox → Toolbox → Alignments → Tolerance. Here you can adjust the tolerance of the misalignments that will be ignored, in case you are not interested in them whenever they are below the desired threshold.
