To start this tutorial use the demo files (3D Tag.fra, House 1.rvt, Settings.json). You can find them in the Downloads page.
Open the following file: House 1.rvt.
Open the Tag All 3D tool, to do this go to go to Toolbox → Tag All 3D.
The Tag All 3D window will show up.

Select the category Walls including all the loaded types.
A new task will show up in the Tasks list.

Open the Generic Model 3D Tag drop down menu next to the Category Columns and select:

This is how the 3D Tag : 3DTag looks like:

We will write the Walls Host parameter AF_FireRating to the 3D Tag Fire Rating Tag Parameter.

We will also write the Walls Host parameter Type Mark to the 3D Tag Type Mark Tag Parameter.

Save the settings you just created in the Revit project file by clicking on the Save button.
Save the settings you just created to a file by clicking on Export. This will prompt you to save a json file which you can later use for other Revit projects. Your settings file should look like the settings file from the downloads page.
Run the add-in by clicking on the Run button.
