You can now set up multiple connections between Revit geometries, like Rooms, masses, spaces, control areas. You can create those connections in Anker add-in in Revit to use the connection for example in population rules.

Instead of a predefined Linked_Mass parameter, you can now set your element_id type parameter in Anker and use it to create connections between geometries in Revit.

In Anker, in Anker Properties settings, create a new parameter that you’ll use to connect your geometries in Revit:

Going back to Revit, in Anker Setup you can see now that the new parameter is available to select:

Untitled

The rest of the settings work the same as it was before:

From Document - select the document you want to use the filter from, or select current document

From Element Filter - filter of geometries that you want to use to match your model elements with, like masses, spaces, rooms, etc.

To Element Filter - your target geometries from the file, that you want to create a connection with

To Parameter - parameter from Anker (of element_id type) that will store the established connection between two filters

Tolerance - tolerance for geometry matching - it takes less time if the tolerance is bigger, but it’s less precise

After the sync and established connection, you’ll be able to access the linked geometry parameters to use it to populate your data with values from linked element parameters:
