What can the user customize?

Under About there is a configuration tab where the user can

• Reorder panels
• Rename panels
• Show/hide buttons
• Show/hide panels
• Move buttons between panels
• Create new panels

The configuration is serialized and written to a .json file which is stored under:

%localappdata%\\Toolbox\\tabsettings.json

Brand customization

• You can send us a default customization file and we can add it automatically to all of your users
• Other things you can customize:
  • You can change the default tab name in Revit with the TabName property
  • You can change the default utilities panel name with the DefaultPanelName property.
  • You can hide the Toolbox configuration panel with the HideConfigPanel property (not recommended).

Import/Export

You can use the import and export buttons to share your customization with other users.
