Detail is a Revit plugin that automatically places instances of the Insulation Batting Line Annotation on Plans and Sections.
This Application makes sure to insert an instance of the Insulation Batting Line Annotation anywhere in the project. You only need to have one instance of this family anywhere in the project, for the Detail plug-in to work. To do this, open any plan or section view and go to Annotate → Detail → Insulation.

After inserting an instance of the Insulation Batting Line Annotation anywhere in the project
Open the Floor Plan view and go to Toolbox → Toolbox → Detail.
Search and select the materials you want to apply the Insulation Batting Line Annotation to and click Run. You can choose to save your Detail tool project settings by hitting the button save.
